Hi, I’m Dr. Jessica Teich.
Dr. Jessica Teich (pronounced teach) is the Founder and Director of Rhythma Health Solutions™. She holds a PhD in Music and Health Sciences and is a board-certified music therapist and Neurologic Music Therapist®, Fellow. Her work integrates advanced clinical training, research expertise, and real-world music experience to support neurodivergent and neurologically complex populations.
Dr. Teich earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music in Music Therapy from Arizona State University, where she completed extensive clinical training, including Neurologic Music Therapy®. She went on to complete her doctoral training at the Music and Health Sciences Research Collaboratory at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Michael Thaut, with research focused on music-based sensorimotor interventions for children with autism, particularly in the areas of sensory processing and motor control.
Her clinical experience spans a range of neurologic and neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, genetic and degenerative disorders, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Teich also contributes to the field as a guest lecturer for the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy® and as a contributing author in the second edition of the Oxford Handbook of Neurologic Music Therapy® (Oxford University Press).
